About the Brand

Self Care Sunday is a line of hand poured, soy wax candles and melts made in Michigan where every item promotes and encourages intentional self care.

The past year has given me the opportunity to examine the parts of my life that I never realized needed much attention—my mental health and wellbeing and my relationships. With quarantine bringing social activities to an abrupt halt, I found myself searching for ways to fill my time and free my mind of stress and anxiety—some people like to talk out their problems but I find that keeping busy or doing something productive is what works for me. As the world slowly started to reopen, I began practicing “self care Sunday” as a way of intentionally reconnecting with friends, family and myself. I enjoy candle making and the process relaxes me while “self care Sunday” gives me something to look forward to every week and puts me in the best of moods, combining the best of both worlds.
